Ananda has consistently been voted the best Destination Spa in the world, and its range of spa treatments are second to none. After your flight to Delhi, you will be met upon arrival and privately transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Dehra Dun. You will then be driven 45 minutes to Ananda. There are a number of room options at Ananda including the Palace View Rooms, Valley View Rooms (which overlook Rishikesh), or the superb one and two bedroom villas with private pools.
We have based this itinerary on the ‘Tranquillity’ Package which include a series of gentle yet rejuvenating experiences – a unique blend of different therapies that introduces you to all the components that Ananda comprises. The package consists of a range of different treatments ranging from an Ayurvedic consultation to scrubs, body masks & massages. You can of course select from a range of packages which include wellness, rejuvenation, stress management, Himalayan romance, detox, weight management, yoga, fitness and anti ageing. Ananda is also ideal for single travellers wanting to get away from it all for a week, and the hotel offers good value singles packages.
This itinerary is based on having a day room in the Radisson Hotel near Delhi airport on your return journey with an early morning flight back to London with British Airways. Naturally, we arrange private transfers in Delhi in between the Domestic and International Terminals.
You can of course extend your stay in the mountains, and some guests have decided to explore the area around Almora where the Shakti Village Walks are based, 360 Leti, or Corbett National Park. The flights from the mountains conveniently connect with onward flights Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai & Calcutta meaning you can combine Ananda with a whole range of interesting places in India.
