Description
Begin in Buenos Aires with 3 nights at the Palacio Duhau, one of Buenos Aires’ top hotels ideally located in Recoleta and within easy walking distance of some of the capital’s best shops and restaurants. While here, why not take in a tango show or even learn some of the moves from a private dance teacher?
Next take the short flight to Cordoba to stay at one of the country’s premier estancias, Estancia El Colibri. This superbly run family-friendly estancia located in beautiful countryside has something for everyone - horse riding, polo clinics, walks and mountain bikes for the active, nearby Jesuit missions, cookery classes and helping the gauchos for the more culturally inclined, and superb bird watching and relaxing by the pool for those who don’t want to do very much at all.
Then fly up to the Iguazu Falls to experience this natural wonder, set among the rainforest on the Argentine/Brazilian border. Take a jet boat to the base of the Falls, take a thrilling helicopter ride, or explore the myriad pathways to the spectacular viewpoints on both sides. Stay in the heart of the National Park right by the falls at the Orient Express Hotel das Cataratas.
Finish with 4 nights on Brazil’s Emerald Coast, staying at the beautiful hideaway of Pousada Picinguaba. While here, you can explore some of the picture-postcard beaches, visit colonial Paraty or simply relax by the pool and drink in the sensational views.
