Description
You will start your ‘chilling down’ in Jamaica's beautiful Blue Mountains. Less than 2 hours from Kingston it is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Spend your few days here totally unwinding whilst enjoying breathtaking views from your verandah or if you're feeling more energetic, take one of the many walking trails around the hotel before enjoy a pampering treatment in the spa. Strawberry Hill introduces guests to a completely different side of Jamaican life in a truly stunning setting.
From Strawberry Hill it is most of a days drive up to the North of the island and a complete contrast in scenery. Head toward the village of Oracabessa where you arrive into the chilled out world of Goldeneye. With beautiful tropical gardens leading down to hidden coves and caves to explore, this is the perfect secluded spot for a beach stay. Choose from a lagoon or beach cottage or if there's a group of you, take over the stunning Ian Fleming Villa, so called as he wrote the book Goldeneye right here.
This itinerary takes in two contrasting sides of Jamaica, neither or which are on the main tourist trail. So de stress, chill out and enjoy the Jamaican way of life.
Please see our itinerary below. It is a suggested itinerary and can be tailored to suit your individual needs.

When to travel
Jamaica is a year-round destination, though there are seasonal differences to consider. Weather-wise, temperature isn’t an important factor: winter is usually warm by day and mild to cool by night, and summer months are hot. The rainy season extends from May to November, with peaks in May, June, October and November. Rain usually falls for short periods (normally in the late afternoon), and it’s quite possible to enjoy sunshine for most of your visit during these months. However, note that in Portland parish, it can rain for days on end.
Tourism’s high, or ‘winter, ’ season runs from early-December to mid-April.
