Description
This exciting journey combines two very different areas in the beautiful Okavango Delta with time relaxing on the beach in southern Mozambique.
Chitabe Camp is located in a private concession in the south east of the Okavango Delta and has a wide variety of habitats from open floodplains to waterways and woodlands and the wide variety of wildlife that goes with these areas.
Fly on to Little Vumbura, a wonderful tented camp in another private concession within the Okavango Delta. The camp is surrounded by water and is close to some of the larger channels so the water activities, such as mokoro and boat trips, play an important part of the game viewing experience along with the day and night game drives.
After a night in Johannesburg fly to Mozambique and the second largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago. Benguerra Island is approximately 10km long and 5km wide and is situated between the islands of Bazaruto and Magaruque. The island is famous for its stunning white sandy beaches, tropical vegetation and indigenous forest, while the coast is renowned for a sea that is rich in coral and fish - superb for both scuba diving and big game fishing. Azura is a stunning all-villa beach lodge in a lovely position overlooking Pansy Island.
