After flying overnight to Cape Town you will be met and transferred to Birkenhead House in Hermanus. You hire car will be delivered later the same day. The drive to Hermanus is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. Birkenhead House is a superb coastal home perched on a headland overlooking the bay in Hermanus. Here you will find great whale watching between the months of July and October.
Your next stop is Cape Town, a bustling cosmopolitan city. It is a food fundi’s delight with an overwhelming choice of outstanding restaurants. When to travel
South Africa is a year-round destination with Cape Town at it's best from September to April with the whale migration taking place between late July and early November. Safari and game viewing is good all year round.
