Description
Begin your adventure in Bangkok, where the cutting-edge sky scrapers contrast with the ancient temples and traditional floating markets, and start to absorb some of Thailand's modern culture. The Metropolitan is a chic, modern property housing the trendy Met Bar and a fantastic Como Shambhala spa.
Following a couple of nights in Bangkok, you will fly north to Thailand's most culturally significant city, Chiang Mai. Surrounded by mountains and lush countryside, it is much greener and quieter than Bangkok, leading to its nickname, the "Rose of the North". Explore any of the 300 temples, with Chiang Mai's Buddhist temples showing a mixture of Lanna Thai, Burmese, Sri Lankan and Mon architectural styles that reflect the varied heritage of Northern Thailand. Explore the fascinating night markets and enjoy life on the river, whilst staying at the impossibly chic Chedi Chiang Mai. Situated right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to the many sights of the area, the Chedi is a really lovely property with a wonderful outdoor pool waiting for you after a long day of sightseeing. It really is a relaxing haven with stunningly appointed accommodation and exceptional service.
From Chiang Mai, you will fly to the small island of Phuket, situated off the west coast of Thailand which is best visited from November through to April. Your final stop is the Sala Phuket, a stunning and stylish property located in a quiet corner of the island, set on a long and picturesque stretch of beach ideal for long leisurely walks. The property itself boasts beautiful contemporary accommodation, with some of the most luxuriant private pool villas on the island, each with a sumptuous outdoor bathroom. Wile away the last days of your holiday on the sandy beach, indulge at the spa and simply relax in the Thai sunshine before returning home to London.
