Description
After your overnight flight to Cape Town, you will be met and transferred to The Four Rosmead where your hire car will be delivered later that day. Cape Town is a truly exciting and cosmopolitan city. From the streets lined with restaurants and bars to the stunning bays that overlook the Atlantic Ocean, there is always something interesting to do. Head up Table Mountain, take a trip across to Robben Island or down to Boulders Beach where the penguins are. The more adventurous can even try shark cage diving!
Four Rosmead is a classified monument that has been sensitively and stylishly renovated to create this beautifully classic but contemporary boutique hotel. With only eight bedrooms the service is excellent and personal. The hotel is perfectly located to access Camps Bay - great for evening drinks, or the V&A Waterfront - fantastic for shopping.
Next, you'll head North through the stunning, undiscovered scenic areas of the Western Cape until you arrive in the Cederberg Mountains where you will be staying at Bushman's Kloof. Here you can be as active or as relaxed as you like... explore the area by foot, bike or canoe, head out on game drives, visit the fascinating rock art or even try your hand at fly-fishing. If that sounds far too busy, then simply indulge in a massage at the spa or relax by the infinity pool. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with magnificent views of the mountains and wilderness beyond and the cuisine is world-class.

When to travel
South Africa is a year-round destination with Cape Town at it's best from September to April. The summers are generally warm and dry, while winters tend to be wet and cool, the rains brought on by fierce north westerly gales. Neither season experiences extremes of temperature, thanks to prevailing winds. Summer (Nov-Mar) is the hottest with temperatures 20-40°C. Mid season (Apr, May, Sep, Oct) temps between 10-30°C. Winter (from June- Aug) is the low season with temps 0-25°C. The whale migration takes place between late July and early November.

Location and directions
South Africa
Situated on the slopes of Table Mountain in the select residential suburb of Oranjezicht. Four Rosmead is within walking distance of Green Market Square and is 5-minutes by car from the V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Clifton and Camps Bay beaches. From there on to Bushmans Kloof, nestled at the foothills of the Cederberg mountains, just 270km from Cape Town. The road to Bushmans Kloof passes through some of South Africa's most beautiful, yet least explored countryside. Rolling wheatfields and wide vistas sweep over the rich, black soil of the Swartland.
How to get there
11-hours 50-minute British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Cape Town International Airport. The airport is 22km from the Four Rosmead.
