Brazil for the Family is recommended for

Description

Brazil is a hypnotic nation of heady African rhythms, sensual samba, exotic wildlife, golden beaches and passionate people. From Rio’s carnival spirit to exuberant Amazon rainforest, this is a country of primary colours.

Arriving in Rio, a city that pulses to samba beats, begin your holiday at the wonderfully grand Copacabana Palace on Brazil’s most famous beach. Visit Christ the Redeemer, take a cable car up Sugar Loaf Mountain or explore the art district of Santa Teresa.

To the Iguassu Falls, and the incredible spectacle of one of nature's must-see sights. Nearly three hundred separate falls power down through the rainforest, and will make you gasp. There is plenty for families to do here besides the falls, and you might want to visit the bird and butterfly parks, take a jet boat to the base of the falls, or soar above them in a helicopter, perfect for those birds eye views. Stay at the beautiful Hotel das Cataratas located right by the falls themselves.

The glorious beaches of Bahia make for a perfect way to end your holiday, and we have suggested the Ecoresort Praia do Forte, an excellent hotel set right on the beach and with a wide range of activities for all the family, from the superb spa to tennis courts and nine pools, delicious cuisine, and excursions to visit to the turtle-nesting beach, seasonal whale watching and exploring the nearby mangrove lagoons.
