Description

This fantastic holiday to Australia has all the elements that a family with a love of adventure is looking for. It really shows off all the wonderful experiences that the diverse country of Australia has to offer.

Start by flying into Singapore on Qantas in Business Class on the new A380. Spend 3 nights at the iconic Raffles in a Grand Suite, which has 2 bedrooms and is spacious and stunning.

Start your Australian adventure by flying straight down to Adelaide in South Australia. Here you will be met by our guide and transferred to your charter flight that will take you up to Arkaba Station. This is part of the Wild Bush Luxury collection and is a new way of experiencing the outback in total style and exclusivity. Included are all meals and drinks and activities such 4WD safaris, wildlife viewing and daily guiding. For a family with children over the age of 5, this is the ultimate in family adventure. You will have kangaroos hopping past your door, koalas in the trees and a never ending beautiful landscapes to look at.

You will take your private plane back to Adelaide before flying up to Cairns. You will be given your hire car and you can then drive the 1hr up to Port Douglas. This is a lovely little resort with some of Australia’s best restaurants and best beaches. Molori Mirage is a stunning villa with 5 bedrooms, a

pool and lots of living space. Your housekeeper, concierge and chef will look after you well and all food and non-alcoholic beverages are included. Apart from relaxing, there is so much to do here from golf, to snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, to exploring the Daintree rainforest.

After being totally pampered and having a wonderful time in Port Douglas, you will drive back to Cairns and fly to Sydney. This great city has to be experienced whilst in Australia so included are 3 nights at the best hotel, the Park Hyatt in a Premier Suite and an adjoining room. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the Rocks district overlooking the Opera House. Plenty of activities can be arranged, such as a harbour cruise or a seaplane flight up the coast for lunch and of course reservations can be made at the best restaurants.

One more element to this holiday really makes it very special. Also part of the Wild Bush Luxury collection, Blue Mountains Private Safaris consists of a night ‘luxury swagging’ in the Blue Mountains. This is when you are taken up to an idyllic spot 2hrs from Sydney in the mountains and your guide and chef will look after you and prepare a delicious meal. You will go wildlife spotting and can swim in the river, all on a totally private basis. This is a great recommendation for all families, as it is a truly unique and amazing

experience. To enhance it even more, you can do one way from Sydney by helicopter, giving you an incredible eye view of the area.

When to travel

Any time’s a good time to go to Singapore. Practically on the equator, Singapore is constantly warm (the temperature never drops below 20°C) and humid and gets fairly steady year-round rainfall. Australia is good to visit year round and this particular itinerary is best from April through to October.
