Begin your holiday at Coral Lodge 1541, a unique property in Mozambique, located near a Unesco World Heritage site, Ilha de Mozambique, which is a fascinating town full of wonderful crumbling buildings and interesting colonial culture. Coral is the only luxury lodge in the area it is a modern, African-style beach resort, which offers the latest in luxury and comfort while maintaining that authentic feel of Mozambican pureness. Accommodation is in individual villas that have been designed using a mixture of African and modern designs. Each has its own private lounge area, large bed and en-suite bathroom with both a bath and a shower. There is a large deck area perfect for sundowners and relaxing. In two of the villas an extra bedroom is included for 2 children or an extra adult. The extra bedroom has its own separate loo and basin.
Because of its unique location, Coral Lodge 15.41 can offers a great number of activities with lots of variation. Guests can simply enjoy the resort, the beach and the water sports or explore Mozambique's rich history and the culture of the Macua people.
From here you will fly to Nairobi for a night before continuing into the heart of the Maasai Mara for a few days in the game-rich Maasai Mara at the lovely tented camp Kicheche Mara Camp. The camp was refurbished in 2011 and is looking really great. You will be overwhelmed by the variety of wildlife and the beauty of the Maasai Mara. The camp has a great vibe to it with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

When to travel
Kenya is a dry country, with regional variations in temperature and rainfall. On the coast, the weather is tropical with high humidity in April and May, and occasional monsoon winds. Inland (including the Central Highlands and Rift Valley) the climate is temperate. The long rains fall from March to May and the short rains fall from late October to December. The best time to visit is usually July to February, and the wildebeest migration usually occurs from mid-July to September.

Coral Lodge 15.41 is located amongst dunes, beaches and mangroves on the Mozambique coastline. From there to the Palacinia and the heart of Nairobi before ending your journey in the Acacia Valley of Mara North Conservancy in Kenya, on the edge of the famous Maasai Mara at Kicheche Mara Camp.
How to get there
8-hour 40-minute British Airways international flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. From the International Airport it's a 30-minute drive across Nairobi to Wilson Airport, where you will catch a 50-minute light aircraft flight to Nampula (175 km from Coral Lodge 15.41). You will be collected at the airstrip and transferred the remaining 2-hours in a 4x4 car to the lodge.
