Description
For anyone whose group is not big enough to fill a whole chalet but who wants the benefits of a chalet experience, Ski Boutique Zermatt is available to book by room during all weeks outside school holidays. For small groups of friends, couples and singles, this offers the opportunity to sample Scott Dunn's legendary service in the renowned village of Zermatt at excellent value prices and to meet like minded skiers.
Zermatt is an incredibly special place that every skier must visit. Steeped in Alpine history and overlooked by the iconic Matterhorn, in our opinion, car-free Zermatt has more charm, sophistication and romance than any other Alpine resort. Added to this, the ski area is extensive, varied and complemented by the finest mountain restaurants in the world. While Zermatt could be described as "skiing for grown-ups", Zermatt still knows how to party and the Hennu Stall, The Bubble Bar, Papperla Pub, Snowboat Caffe are just a few of the places to enjoy après-ski before going on to dance into the small hours at the Schnee-Witchen, Broken Bar Disco, T Bar or the Pink Live Music Bar.
Ski Boutique Zermatt is close to the centre of this magical village and has up to 9 rooms available.
There is a communal staircase that separates the living areas from the bedrooms.

Activities
Zermatt has plenty to offer guests other than skiing. The village itself is a pleasure to explore, whether on foot or in a horse-drawn carriage, with a wealth of shops, restaurants and historic buildings to enjoy. Exploring the mountain is also straightforward with mountain railways and some wonderful walks, whether on foot or on snowshoes. If you would like a really close view of the Matterhorn, a helicopter flight around it is truly breathtaking.
Zermatt is much more of a cultural centre than many other resorts. The English church is a highlight, especially at Christmas and art exhibitions, concerts, films, walking tours are plentiful. Every April, the Zermatt Unplugged music festival attracts big name acts.
There are also plenty more active possibilities including the fitness centre, indoor tennis and squash, gym, heli-skiing, ice skating, paragliding, stunning walking tours, gorge adventures, ice climbing and tobogganing
Finally, if all of this sounds exhausting, there are some top quality spas where you can be pampered to your heart’s content.
Services
Great food is an important aspect of any holiday, especially a skiing holiday, and this is something we take very seriously. Our service is of the highest level, but personal in a way that no hotel can match.
Mealtimes are a sociable time to meet other guests and perhaps to find a ski partner. Experienced skiers know that skiing with friends or partners of different standards can be frustrating and sometimes friendships and relationships are better left until the après-ski!
| Flights & transfers | We have an allocation of British Airways scheduled flights at sociable times and shared transfers to make the travel easy and good value. |
| Breakfast | Menu includes Full English, Continental and other specials such as Eggs Benedict and Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs. Food is cooked to order and served. Served from 8am until 9.45am daily |
| Supper | Proposed by the Chef and will typically include four delicious and superbly presented courses followed by cheese and tea or coffee. The menu can be tailored to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Carefully selected house wines are inclusive. |
| Beverages | House wine and Champagne are included, as are soft drinks, beers, teas and coffees so you will not be presented with a tab at the end of your stay. |
| Afternoon tea | A selection of teas, fresh bread, cakes and biscuits will await you on your return from skiing. |
| Host service | Hosts are on hand to help out, whether you would like a table booked for lunch, to find a guide for the afternoon or to advise you on where to ski. |
| Bathroom products | REN bathroom products, fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers |
| Beauty Therapy | Our own beauty therapist can pamper you with massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. |
When to travel
Zermatt offers excellent conditions throughout a long season. Skiing is well under way by early December and even late November due to high altitude glacial terrain around 4000m. As the season progresses, lower runs offer great conditions too and the skiing below 2000m is appealing when it gets really cold. By April when other resorts can be knee deep in slush, Zermatt will have the best conditions in the Alps. Check out the Zermatt Unplugged music festival in April too.
