Description

Located on the shores of the Atlantic, Sheraton La Caleta is set amidst beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens, which gently slope down towards the sea. The 284 spacious rooms and suites are furnished in a classic Canarian style and are all luxuriously appointed, featuring very comfortable Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds. Premium rooms have ocean views, whilst Sheraton club rooms provide access to an exclusive lounge and compimentary refreshments. Suites have Jacuzzis and panoramic terraces.

The restaurants offer a fantastic range of cuisine, choose from buffet or a la carte, Japanese or traditional Spanish. La Vente, where guests are welcomed with w glass of wine and tapas, is the perfect choice to sample specialities such as Paella or 'papas' with coriander 'mojo'. Watch the chef cook these delicious dishes in the charming open kitchen.

Sheraton la Caleta is the perfect place to relax and unwind beneath the warm Canarian sunshine with the combination of a state-of-the-art ‘Eutonos Spa,’ a children’s activity programme, multiple swimming pools and excellent restaurants. El Duque beach is a 10 minute walk along a pleasant promenade.

There is a great array of watersports possible and many exciting excursions to nearby towns and places of interest. The Teide volcano is Spain's highest mountain and guests can walk along trails up this exhilarating peak to find the best view on the entire island.

Guide price £800 per person

£800 per person based on 2 adults sharing a Deluxe Double room on a B&B basis for 7 nights in low season, inclusive of return airport transfers. Flights can be arranged directly through EasyJet, Monarch or other low cost airlines.

Accommodation

All 284 rooms are equipped with the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, in-room laptop safe and a spacious bathroom with bath and separate shower. Each room has a private terrace with tea furniture. Rooms are comfortable and elegantly decorated. Most rooms have amazing garden or Atlantic views and the exclusive La Caleta suite boasts an expansive terrace with a panoramic view over the Atlantic ocean.

Childcare

Los Delfines kids club provides fun and creative supervised activities for children aged 3-12 years. There is a children’s playground, children’s pool and a children’s menu available in restaurants.

Facilities

Sheraton La Caleta offers 4 restaurants and 2 bars, serving an excellent range of international cuisines at the highest standard. The Vivace poolside restaurant is located in the Pool Village, a perfect place for a light lunch and Mediterranean specialties. There are 3 outdoor swimming pools, 9-hole Mini Golf, a games room and a Caroli Spa featuring a heated indoor pool, fitness centre, beauty centre, steam room, sauna and ice igloo.

Activities

There are plenty of activities on the Costa Adeje including scuba diving and catamaran excursions to see dolphins and whales while enjoying the scenery from Los Gigantes Cliffs or Masca Valley. There are many golf courses nearby for which guests get discounted green fees and Europe's largest waterpark, 'Siam Park' is close by. Walks on Spain's highest mountain, Teide, boast the best views on the island and it is easy to visit the other Canary islands if desired.
