When to travel

Mallorca experiences great Mediterranean weather with temperatures much more pleasant than that of continental Europe. Summers in Mallorca are normally hot and dry while winters tend to be pleasant and mild. Mallorca's high tourist season begins in April and ends around late September. Many restaurants and bars are only open during the summer months of June to September, though visiting outside these months means less crowds.
