Description
Formally an olive farm, Hacienda de San Rafael has been converted into a charming country house boutique hotel. The hotel is situated midway between the historic cities of Seville and Jerez and is an ideal place for exploring the Pueblos Blancos and surrounding countryside. Horse riding safaris can be arranged across the undulating Andalucían plains and yachts can be chartered along the wild and rugged coastline of Costa de la Luz.
The spacious individually styled duplex rooms surround an attractive cobbled courtyard dotted with colourful pots of geraniums and bougainvillea. Each room was individually decorated by Kuky Mora-Figueroa, using luxurious fabrics, antiques and artefacts. There is a veranda outside each bedroom where breakfast is served. The three thatched roof casitas are separate from the main building and share their own infinity swimming pool, ideal for those preferring more private and spacious accommodation.
There is a vast array of watersports and other activities available to guests at Hacienda de San Rafael and private instructors can be arranged for personal tuition. Tour guides can take guests for half or full day excursions to places of interest in the region such as 'Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre', the popular equestrian centre built around the 'Recreo de las Cadenas Palace' where riders dress in 18th century costume and perform dressage.

There are opportunities to go sailing, game fishing, kite surfing, surfing, cycling, hot-air ballooning and bird watching nearby to Hacienda De San Rafael. There are 6 fantastic golf courses in the area as well as recommended walks through the Grazalema Natural Park. The hotel can organise a range of exciting, tailor made excursions to places of interest in Andalucia.
