Description

This sophisticated yet relaxed beachfront resort offers supreme comfort with impeccable Cretan hospitality.

The unique design of the hotel is reflected in its architecture, using classical Greek design in its many columns, stone arches and an impressive monumental façade. The ancient Greek notion of perfection can be seen in the attention to detail throughout the rooms and suites, combined with contemporary luxuries such as colour therapy bathtubs, hydro massage baths, outdoor tropical rain showers, beauty therapy corners and private fitness areas.

The villas and bungalows are situated around seawater lagoons, bordered by palm trees, where at night tiny lights flicker from the pools mirroring the stars above. The private beach villas and dream villas have their own pool and spacious terrace leading down to the sandy beach.

The resort runs along a prime stretch of sandy beach, perfect to enjoy a whole host of water sports, long swims in the balmy Cretan sea, or an evening stroll. There are tennis courts, beach volleyball and the Crete golf course is only 10km away.

Amirandes has five contrasting restaurants from wonderful Greek seafood to Asian cuisine in its vibrantly designed red Blue Monkey restaurant. Why not also experience in room dining in the comfort of your own suite or villa with a romantic dinner on the terrace or a lunchtime BBQ for all the family. Private dinners under the stars on the beach with your own private waiter can also be organised.

The Elixir Spa in the lagoon wing offers a number of treatments in a relaxing and Zen like atmosphere. They use alternative therapies and treatments as well as the more traditional methods of aromatherapy and reflexology.
