The 94 luxury suites of the Columbia Beach Resort are decorated with contemporary furnishings and neutral tones. The arrangement of the suites is styled on a traditional Cypriot village creating a small, intimate resort. All rooms offer spacious living, mini-bars (with complimentary soft drinks) and en-suite bathrooms with large soaking tubs and separate freestanding glass-walled showers. An added perk for families is the mini kitchenette unit offered in some rooms with 2 hobs, a kettle and work surface.
The restaurant Dionysus, the hotel’s main a la carte restaurant has an outdoor seating area for sun-drenched breakfasts while the Apollo Taverna offers superb al fresco dining by day and night. For supper, traditional Cypriot meze and freshly caught fish are on the menu. The hotel’s 4 bars serve local and international beverages, speciality cocktails, light snacks and ice creams.

| Panorama Suite Sea View | Feel at home in the elegant and comfortable living area, perfect for a family to relax in at all times. These double room family suites are located in the main building of the resort and provide comfort and luxury and attention to detail which makes them a desirable choice for families who want space. The main bedroom nestles in a private, elevated section and the main bathroom is extremely spacious and fitted with an air bath. A sizeable living area with its own TV separates the two sleeping areas. The second bedroom can be hidden from view by sliding the wooden doors, which quickly transform into an additional sitting area with two large comfortable settees. There is a children's club, 3-12yrs open at peak times of year with an action-packed programme of games & competitions, including jewellery making, arts & crafts and beach games. There is a separate children's pool and babysitting is available.

There is an in-house bakery providing fresh warm treats, an a la carte gourmet restaurant and a nautically themed cocktail bar; the perfect place to unwind and admire the awe inspiring Cypriot sunset. Activities
There are three 18 hole championship golf courses in the immediate vicinity to Columbia Beach Resort, to which the hotel provides shuttles. There is a fantastic array of water sports on offer, choose from kitesurfing, windsurfing, waterskiing, paragliding, scuba diving, jetskiing, sailing and canoeing. In addition there are two squash courts, two floodlit tennis courts, a state of the art gym and yoga and aerobics classes to keep you in great shape.
When to travel
The climate in Cyprus warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From March/April onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May and October are particularly pleasurable months.

How to get there
4.5-hour direct British Airways flight to Paphos International Airport. Columbia Beach Resort is a 30-minute drive from the Airport.
