As well as a 5* Intercontinental Hotel, there is also a large range of rental villas with private pools at Aphrodite Hills which extend across the eastern and western plateaus. The selection of facilities and presence of an exclusive Scott Dunn children's club combines perfectly for a great family holiday for independent guests who prefer the additional space, flexibility and privacy a villa offers.

Scott Dunn has handpicked a selection of villas to suit all party sizes, tastes and budgets that come complete with a specially tailored package especially for our guests. The villas range from simple and compact semi-detached Junior Villas with 2 or 3 bedrooms, with enviable views across the ravine to the sea beyond, to the more spacious and grand Elite and Mythos villas. Each is totally unique and all are fully air-conditioned, with private pools. All Scott Dunn guests will receive a complimentary food hamper on arrival, and 1 night private dining by our resident Scott Dunn chef, who will prepare delicious cuisine in the privacy of your own villa.

The resort has so much to offer sports enthusiasts. For golfers, hugging the coastal landscape, the 18-hole golf course has breathtaking views. There is also a golf academy and driving range catering for all abilities. Guests can also take advantage of the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy. A visit to The Retreat Spa is the ultimate in top-to-toe pampering where superb facilities and an expert team of therapists tend to your every need. The heart of the resort is the bustling Village Square with its bars, restaurants and shops as well as the children's playground.

Whether you want to enjoy a game of tennis at the Annabel Croft tennis academy, a round of golf course, relaxation at the Retreat Spa or explore the local beaches and surrounding area, there is something for every member of the family. For junior guests our exclusive Scott Dunn children’s club, will ensure your children have the time of their lives.

Guide price £1,140 per person per week

£1,140 per person for seven nights in June based on a family of four sharing a 2 bedroom Junior villa with private pool on a villa only basis, including car hire, BA return flights and one night of private dining. Childcare excluded.

Accommodation

There are 800 properties at Aphrodite Hills ranging from villas with private pools, townhouses (Junior Villas) and apartments varying in size from 1 to 5 bedrooms. A handful of which are available to rent. Every property at Aphrodite Hills is designed, fitted and finished in totally different styles, standards, privacy and locations across both the western and eastern plateaus. Scott Dunn has therefore selected certain properties with private pools that we feel meet the requirements of our guests. Each property has views of either the golf course, the ravine or the Mediterranean sea, and some boast private gardens.

Childcare

Scott Dunn provides childcare for children aged from 4 months to 13 years at our new look Explorers Club. Our qualified nannies organise fun and exciting activities whatever your child’s age such as trips to the water park, days on the beach and splash painting. The Explorers Club is located in a stunning villa has a private pool. The villa has been transformed into a haven for children with dedicated rooms for each age group kitted out with toys, games, creative equipment and games console. There is a fully equipped kitchen where our childcare team prepare fresh, homemade lunches and snacks each day. The private pool is for sole use by the children as is the beautiful garden with a wide selection of toys so that the children can enjoy the Cypriot sunshine whatever their age. The beach is a short drive away and the children’s club also has use of tennis courts, the golf course, riding stables and play area within the resort.

Facilities

The resort has over 14 restaurants offering a true taste of the Mediterranean in delightful settings, all locations offer a tempting choice of chic and relaxing bars, plus casual and informal restaurants. The majority of the dining options are located at the village square including a Greek and Cypriot Taverna, Italian pizza and pasta restaurant, Asian cuisine and a French brasserie.

Please note that the resort restaurants are open on rotation basis and in accordance to seasonal demand.

Activities

The 18 hole golf course, with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea is paradise for the golfing enthusiast and the Annabel Croft tennis academy provides an excellent opportunity to learn or improve your tennis skills. Mountain biking, hill walking, horse riding explore the beautiful local countryside by is also a popular activity. Musicals are shown at the Olive theatre and family films are shown at the open air cinema.

When to travel

The climate in Cyprus warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From March/April onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May and October are particularly pleasurable months.

Location and directions

Paphos, Cyprus

The exclusive Aphrodite Hills Resort, overlooking the azure waters of the Mediterranean is located 15 minutes from Paphos and 1 hour from Larnaca.

How to get there

Flying from the UK takes around 4.5hrs flight to Cyprus. There is a regular service with British Airways year round to Larnaca Airport and from April to October to Paphos. Cyprus Airlines also has a regular service to Larnaca. Alternatively there are a number of regional flights operated by low cost or charter airlines to Cyprus.
