Description

Operating since 1913 and benefiting from a total refurbishment in 2008, the hotel has attracted visitors such as the British royal family, Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie Onassis.

The hotel has 158 rooms including a separate villa, Villa Agave. The rooms are elegantly designed and most have a sea view with some enjoying unforgettable views over to the sun soaked white walls of the old town.

The Excelsior has 4 restaurants, Salin, the hotel’s main restaurant with a beautiful al fresco terrace, Sensus fine dining restaurant, SATU sushi bar and restaurant and the PRORA beach restaurant serving light meals and sea food. Guests can relax after dinner in the ABAKUS piano bar or enjoy a drink during sundown on the terrace.

With its location right on the water’s edge, there is a lovely terrace with sun loungers and direct access into the sea along with an indoor pool and beautiful spa.

Outbound flights run everyday with British Airways from London Gatwick, a direct flight of 2-hours 30-minutes. The Excelsior is a 45-minute drive from Dubrovnik Airport.
