Apres ski takes place in a variety of bars in the buzzing Lech centre, after which one can retreat back to the calm of the Goldener Berg on the last cable car at 1am, which is just a 5 minute journey. Lech is one of the world's best known ski regions and has managed to keep the charm of a classical Austrian resort. There are 88 ski lifts covering 260km of prepared piste. In addition to downhill skiing there is also 15km of cross country track, a snowpark, ice bowling, skating, Heli-skiing, paragliding, snow shoe hiking, a toboggan run, horse drawn sledges and a world famous ski school. The hotel also offers wine tasting.
