The InterContinental Resort & Spa Moorea undoubtedly boasts one of the most magnificent settings on the north west coastline of Moorea. It is located in the heart of a two-acre estate, nestled in lush surroundings of deep greens and intense blues, with the magnificent Moorea Peaks as a backdrop.

48 Lanai Rooms and 1 Suite can be found in the main building bear the hotel's main facilities. Each Lanai is comfortable and spacious with a King Size bed and a private terrace or balcony overlooking the hotel's gardens - the Lanai Suite has the addition of a spacious living. The 17 Garden Bungalows are dotted around the lush vegetation of the garden and have a King Size bed, sofa bed and private terrace with plunge pool and thatched gazebo. Drinks and light daytime meals can be enjoyed at the pool's swim up bar and the Motu Iti bar is another great venue for a cocktail while the sun goes down. When to travel
Warm tropical year round temperatures, the Society Islands are a tropical destination so humidity, rain, sunshine and heat are all to be considered. There are two seasons: the Summer which is from November through March and Winter which is from April through October. The average temperature in Summer is about 30°C and in the drier Winter the average temperature is about 28°C. Most rainfall is during the Summer months with high humidity. The best time weather wise with the least risk of storms is in their Winter months. June to August is windy season and can be extremely gusty.

How to get there
Approximately a 22-hour international flight (one change) to Tahiti's Faa'a International Airport. Moorea is a 7-minute domestic flight or 30-minute catamaran ride from Tahiti. The hotel is located in the North of Moorea, a 20-minute drive from the airport or 25-minutes from the ferry port.
