  • Te Tiare is a taste of authentic and traditional Polynesia - although accommodation, food and service is to the highest of international standards, it retains a true Tahitian identity which is just wonderful.

Description

Te Tiare, in Tahitian ‘The Flower’, is an intimate resort where fine cuisine, personal attention and spacious bungalows enhance the breathtaking Polynesian environment. The hotel is accessed after a short and beautiful lagoon boat ride from the airport and is 15 minutes from the traditional Polynesian village of Fare.

This resort's 41 Garden, Beach and Over-Water Bungalows all face west and enjoy spectacular views of the islands Raiatea and Taha’a as well as ravishing sunsets. Comfortable rattan furnishings and pandanus thatched roofs create an inviting island feel and although simple in design, rooms are spacious and homely with wonderful wooden decks from which to take in the tropical surrounds.

Dine on the freshest lobster, seafood and abundant local produce at the Ari'i Restaurant where Polynesian, French and International cuisine is all served in a romantic beachfront setting with the warmest of smiles. Couple this with lavish buffet breakfasts and relaxed casual lunches at the hotel's beach bar and all your culinary needs are well and truly taken care of.

Days can be spent snorkelling, diving, kayaking and exploring Te Tiare Beach Resort's tropical surrounds. Enjoy a private picnic by some of the world's loveliest turquoise lagoons, a 4X4 safari tour, sunset cruise or get close and personal with the sharks and go shark feeding. Activities abound but having a languorous massage, relaxing by the hotel's freeform pool or under the shady palms on the pristine white sand beach are equally inviting.
