Description

Fringed by cerulean waters and dazzling white beaches, this stunning private island is the ultra-exclusive, eco-chic destination of the decade. Created by Redbull drinks magnate Dietriech Mateschitz, this private island paradise has set a new benchmark in the South Pacific and quite possibly the world. Offering an Island escape for those who enjoy unbounded privacy and the ultimate in luxury, Laucala creates an extraordinary experience which is privately yours. The resort has taken luxury to a new level, not only for its opulence but also for its philosophy of self-sufficiency. A holistic approach to self sustainability proudly exists here - in growing all fruits and vegetables on their own farms, breeding poultry and cattle, making their own honey, bottling their own mineral water and baking their own breads – a delicious benefit for all guests!

Laucala has five restaurants which showcase island-grown produce, from degustation dinners in the colonial Plantation House Restaurant, Asian influenced dining in the treetops of the Seagrass Lounge or barbeques at the beach.

Anything is possible on Laucala, from playing a round of golf, cycling the Island, horse riding, game fishing, diving or sailing. Thoughtful details are everywhere, from the welcome party meeting your private jet, to your electric buggy being turned around for you every time you park (ready for your next adventure), to the gas fireplace which magically ignites every evening at dusk in your poolside rock garden – no detail is overlooked.

The island offers 25 private residences in unique, very private locations on the northern tip of the Island. Some are set in the former coconut plantation, some overlooking Seagrass Bay and others are perched on Nawi Hill. Each has its own swimming pool with ample space for maximum privacy. The seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living creates an inspiringly relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere.
