Description

Tucked away on a beautiful peninsula in a stunning setting, guests are welcomed to Pretty Beach House as if to a private home. With only three, one-bedroom pavilions surrounding the Main House on the seven and a half acre property, you are offered privacy with round-the-clock service with all meals, snacks and drinks, including wines and champagnes, are included as part of the hospitality.

The pavilions Treetops, Bayview and Hideaway have views through the mass of ancient angophoras and native eucalypts down onto the sparkling Brisbane Waters. The pavilions offer king bedrooms with separate dressing rooms, open-plan sitting areas oriented to take advantage of the views, fully stocked bars and combustion log fireplaces. The dining and lounge areas and bathrooms lead on to private decks with day beds and heated plunge pools. The decor is simple and strong, with tub chairs in vintage leather, 1930's travel trunks, hand crafted tables and fine Belgian linen.

The Main House, situated at the heart of the property, has an atrium style dining and lounging area, intimate cocktail bar, wine cellar, open fireplace plus infinity pool and deck. Interiors complement the bushland surroundings, featuring local sandstone and recycled timbers. Local artists have taken advantage of the fallen angophora branches and created sculptures that feature throughout.

The property prides itself on its cuisine, and Italian born Stefano Manfredi's influence is evident in every aspect of the culinary delights at Pretty Beach House. Dine in the atrium dining rom, privately within your own pavilion, in the wine cellar or al fresco on the landscaped property. An extensive range of premium wines and spirits has been selected to complement the gastronomic experience, with a wine cellar stocked with rare old and new world wines for the connoisseur.

The serene bush setting offers rest and relaxation however it can also become the centre of a full expedition experience. Excursions range from a professionally guided bush walk or a cruise for a picnic on one of the many secluded bays, right through to a fishing excursion on board the 38 foot Pretty Beach Launch CABO sports cruiser. Following a day of acitivity, why not indulge in a personalised massage or spa treatment in the privacy of your pavilion?

When to travel

In the southern half of Australia the seasons are the opposite of those in the northern hemisphere: spring comes in September, summer is from December to February, autumn runs from March to May, and winter begins in June.

Sydney is great to visit year round but if you want warm sun and dry weather it is best to try between November and April. Their winter months of May - October usually have mild weather so you can still enjoy all the sights.
