Description

The resort features 1,539 rooms and suites and is the first hotel to open on Palm Island. With its enviable location atop the crescent of The Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis, The Palm is proud to be the area's first truly integrated entertainment resort. Transporting guests into a dazzling, imaginative world, the resort encompasses a 46 hectare site with 17 hectares of water themed amusement at AQUAVENTURE, extensive fresh and salt-water pools and lagoon exhibits, an open-air marine habitat, a seemingly endless stretch of beach, luxury boutiques, numerous dining choices including four celebrity chef restaurants, an exciting nightclub, spa and fitness club.

Comprising 1,373 spacious guest rooms and 166 suites we suggest guests of Scott Dunn escape the masses by booking into the exclusive Imperial Club, designed to be a resort within a resort, for guests who ‘insist on the exquisite’. Offering elegant, luxurious surroundings with stunning views and select dining options, the Club also boasts complimentary business and Internet facilities, refreshments and light snacks.

This really is a resort for families with a payable kids club tailored to three specific age groups, and well-designed teens club where young adults can escape their parents clutches in a safe environment.

With the thrill of Aquaventure Waterpark, the opportunity to explore the marine life of The Lost Chambers and make your dreams come true at Dolphin Bay. The waters of Atlantis await!

When to travel

The best time to visit the UAE is between October and November and then February and March, when temperatures hang around the mid-20s and the humidity is under control. While December and January are generally considered the best months to go, the weather over the last couple of ‘winters’ has been unpredictable with occasional cloud and rain.

The month of Ramadan means hotel rates are heavily discounted, but while outside the resort, Ramadan is strictly adhered to, within the resorts you will notice very little difference.

High summer (July and August) means heavy discounted hotels it’s a great option for a cheap getaway but it will be very very hot and very very humid!
