Description
The Hyatt is a large and impressive hotel situated about half an hour’s drive from the centre of Kathmandu. The hotel has been intelligently designed in keeping with the traditional Nepali style of Newari architecture, with its many courtyards and hand carved wooden pillars.
Many of the hotel’s rooms look out to the famous Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most holy Tibetan Shrines outside Tibet, as well as the surrounding Himalayan mountain ranges. Rooms are decorated with wooden flooring and Tibetan hand woven rugs and feature king size beds, granite bathrooms walk-in showers and separate baths.
There are 37 acres of gardens where there is a large swimming pool, children's wading pool, three tennis courts one of which is floodlit and a running track. The hotel also features a gym, a spa, three restaurants and a lively bar.
Activities nearby include golf at the Royal Nepal Gokarna Forest golf courses, mountain biking, jungle safaris and trekking. the hotel will also be happy to arrange mountain flights and white-water river rafting.

Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Autumn and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Autumn (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.

10-hour flight (with one change) to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to the hotel takes about 15-minutes.
