Description
Fort Seengh Sagar is a luxurious villa set in the middle of a lake (monsoon dependent). Each of the four large bedrooms has been beautifully furnished and each has its own private balcony with spectacular views across the lake to the surrounding countryside.
There is a central courtyard and cosy sitting area as well as a dining terrace where delicious home-cooked Rajasthani meals are served. The staff and service is very personal and Seengh Sagar exudes a sense of tranquillity. Owned and managed by the Deogarh family, guests also have full use of the facilities of Deogarh Mahal, just 5kms away. However this is the sort of place that once you are there, you will not want to leave this relaxing haven.
Some of the local attractions include local villages, the Jain Temples at Ranakpur, the Kumbhalgarh Fort and the temples at Nathdwara and Eklingi.

Children of all ages are welcome but there are no specific facilities. Children may be accommodated in their parent’s bedroom for an extra charge and there is a babysitting service available on request.

Activities in the local area include jeep safaris, train rides through a pretty ‘ghat’ section, cycling, horse riding, picnics in the countryside, by a lake or in the hills, birdwatching, excursions to local villages, the Jain Temples at Ranakpur, the Kumbhalgarh Fort and the temples at Nathdwara and Eklingi.

A babysitting service is available on request and the hotel will be happy to arrange transfers (at extra cost) from either the airport or the railway station to and from the hotel in a taxi and in a vintage car (1964 Jaguar S Type / 1934 Chevy / 1942 GI Ford Jeep) on special request.
When to travel
Mix of hot and pleasant climate. Summer (March to June) are hot and temperature lies between 30°C to 43°C. The high altitude of Deogarh means it doesn't get as hot here as in other places in Rajasthan. Winters are very pleasant with a temperature band of 11°C to 25°C. Monsoons are humid and moderate. The best time to visit is from September to March.
