Description

Set in a 25-acre landscaped park on the bank of the river Gomti, the luxurious Vivanta by Taj Gomti Nagar evokes the palatial style of the Nawabi era and offers the perfect base to explore the magical city of Lucknow, only 4kms from the city centre.

All rooms are tastefully furnished, some with balconies overlooking the pool and rooms can be interconnecting for families. When to travel

The best season to visit Lucknow is between October and March when the temperatures are a in a comfortable range of 5-25 °C. This is a good time to be out sightseeing as the weather is pleasant and very cool. The summer lasts from April to September/October and it gets really hot at this time with the temperatures shooting up to 45°C at the height of the season in May and June. The rains come in July and August bringing the temperatures down marginally but the humidity levels rise.

How to get there

9-hour international flight to Mumbai Chattrapathi Shivaji Airport, followed by a 1-hour domestic flight. Gomti Nagar is just 8 km from the railway terminus and a mere 20 km from the airport.
