Phu Quoc

Located in the clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand, Phu Quoc is the largest island in Vietnam, yet has a population of only 80,000. Less well known than its Thai counterparts, Phu Quoc offers the opportunity to discover untouched tropical beaches and a completely relaxed island way of life. The population largely thrives off the local fishing, pepper and fish sauce industries, and tourism is in its very early stages of development, with only a handful of luxury hotels to choose from.
