During your time on the Halong Ginger, you can relax on the top deck taking in the passing scenery, join in the early morning Tai Chi class, or try your hand at a traditional Vietnamese cookery class. For those wanting to explore off the boat, there is a tender which can take you to deserted beaches and lakes, or you can simply swim in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin.
This boat has 3 decks and just ten comfortable cabins reflecting refined Asian decor and relaxed elegance. As there are so few passengers on board Halong Ginger, the service is attentive and discreet and you will want for nothing during your voyage.
Accommodation
The eight 14 square metre Ginger Rooms have twin beds and 2 panoramic windows and the two 16 square metre Ginger Deluxe Rooms have 3 panoramic windows and a queensize bed. All cabins have air conditioning and welcoming hot showers.
Childcare
Children are welcome on board but there are no specific facilities for them, however inter connecting cabins are available for families. The service on board is very personalised and the crew will do their utmost to make sure your stay as a family is as enjoyable as possible. Children will love the excitement of sleeping on board and having the ocean and all its adventures right on the doorstep.

When to travel
The best time of year to visit Halong Bay is during the spring or autumn. Because the bay is situated in the northern part of the country, it can get colder in the winter. The rainy season here is at its peak in July to September. July is the hottest month, January the coolest. The dry season runs from November to April.
