Accommodation
The 54 one and two bedroom colonial suites at the Dhara Dhevi are housed in a beautiful two-storey building with views over the pool and landscaped gardens. Each suite has high ceilings and rich décor of marble, golden teak and Thai Silks. The 64 individual Villas each have a living room complete with piano on the lower floor and a bedroom upstairs. Some villas have a private plunge or swimming pool overlooking the rice terraces. There are also 5 opulent Residences for parties of up to 12.

The Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi wholeheartedly welcomes children and is great hotel for families. The recommended Lanna Kids Club encourages children to discover Thai Culture with adventures and activities such as umbrella and fan painting, learning to write their names in Thai, riding water buffalo and planting rice. When to travel
The best time to visit Chiang Mai is between October and April. The monsoon season traditionally begins in May and lasts through to October, with July to September usually being the time of heaviest rain. The hottest month is April, when temperatures can hit the 40s. The cooler months of November to January will be a good time to travel if you don't like the heat, with the average day temperature slightly below 30°C.

How to get there
