On the Mekong

The Mekong River in Laos is set within a stunning landscape of mountain ranges and countryside. This busy river is a haven of relaxation, giving visitors a chance to witness the Laotians’ day-to-day life, synonymous as it is with the ebb and flow of the river. Watched the skilled fishermen at work is part of it, but if you’re lucky, you can also witness the Naga fireballs, an unexplained phenomenon where various-sized red orbs rise out of the water and into the air, before disappearing into the night.
