From the Sheraton Guilin boat trips on the Li River, bicycle hire, visits to local villages and excursions to point of interest in the area surrounding Guilin are all easily arranged. There is also a 9 hole golf course nearby.
When to travel
The best time to visit Guilin is between October and December. March to May is also a good time to visit, but there are occasional showers. January and February is generally damp and drizzly, whilst in June to September is it hot and humid with possible heavy rains.
