For those that have the time and inclination, the Temple Safari allows you to visit some of the more remote temples in Cambodia, in areas that currently have no or little tourism infrastructure, ensuring you have a truly unique experience.
The accommodation is in tents which are based upon the tried and tested African safari luxury tents. Each day they are pitched at your destination and the inner layer comes with complete mosquito and insect protection and includes meshed windows for light and breeze during the day. The tent comes equipped with toilet and shower tents to ensure maximum privacy in the middle of nowhere.
Dinner will consist of delicious home cooked local food and your knowledgeable private guide will tell you the fascinating history of this beautiful country.

Although it is a luxury camping experience, facilities during the Temple Safari are limited. Your private guide will ensure you have a fabulous time and gain a real understanding of the area's history and culture and all of your delicious freshly cooked meals are prepared by your private chef and can be tailored to your tastes.

Your days are spent with your private English-speaking guide who can teach you about the local culture and history and can take you to temples, villages and areas that the usual tours do not even begin to experience.
When to travel
Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.
