The Heritage Suites Hotel's 20 suites and 6 rooms are spacious and the elegant with low-key décor which harmoniously combines Asian tradition with modernity. The suites all have a small tranquil garden, some with outdoor showers and jacuzzis and the oversize stone bathtub is a prominent feature of the rooms.
The main restaurant and bar area, housed in the same building, is very relaxed offering Khmer and Western cuisine and an extensive selection of international wines. Enjoy meals both inside and out - dinners by the pool romantically lit by lanterns are truly memorable.
Relax at the saltwater swimming pool where you will also find a small bar to enjoy light meals at any time of the day. As this is a boutique property there are no fixed times for meals so you decide when you want to eat and this fits perfectly with visits to the Temples of Angkor.

Accommodation
The Heritage Suites Hotel has 6 Deluxe Rooms, 17 Bungalow Suites, 2 Executive Suites and 1 Royal Suite, all designed with blend of contemporary Asian and Art Deco themes. The slick Deluxe Rooms have high ceilings, pressed bamboo floors and teak furnishings. The Zen-like Bungalow Suites have large open plan rooms with comfortable beds, seating areas and a stone freestanding bath. In the bathroom there is a shower and a steam bath and outside, each has a tropical private courtyard garden with outdoor shower. The Executive and Royal Suites are similar in design but are larger, have jacuzzis in the garden and are perfect if you need more space as they can comfortably accommodate 2 children.
Childcare
Children are very welcome at The Heritage Suites Hotel and can be accommodated with parents in any of the suites. There are no specific facilities for them but cots can be provided as can babysitting on request.
Facilities
The Lantern Restaurant serves sumptuous Asian, Continental and American breakfasts which can be enjoyed inside or out on the terrace. Lunches and dinners blend Khmer, Asian and Western cuisine but snacks and light dishes are available throughout the day and the hotel is incredibly flexible. There is also a lovely bar. There is a peaceful saltwater swimming pool with double loungers and the sanctuary of the Bodia Spa, which is designed to pamper the body and soul with its natural, organic products.
Activities
In-house adventure specialists can tailor-make tours to Angkor Wat, off-the-beaten-track experiences and outdoor activities such as quad biking, elephant riding and hot air ballooning. Alternatively, take one of the hotel's bicycles and explore independently, take in the city of Siem Reap with its charming shops, galleries, markets, bars and restaurants.
When to travel
Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.

Heritage Suites Hotel is located opposite Wat Polanka in Siem Reap, about 1km north of the old market. It's 8km (a 10-minute drive or 30-minute cycle ride) from the temples at Angkor Wat.
How to get there
11-hour flight to Bangkok followed by a further 1-hour flight to Siem Reap. Heritage Suites Hotel is 15-minutes from the airport.
