Description
The M/Y Galapagos Grand Odyssey is a deluxe motor yacht measuring 43 metres (140ft), and offering the most space of any boat sailing the Galapagos for 16 passengers.
The 8 cabins are elegantly furnished and spacious with large panoramic windows and individually controlled air-conditioning. Some of the cabins are interconnecting, which is excellent for families. There is also one master suite cabin, the Odyssey Suite, measuring 35 square metres! All cabins are also equipped with a minibar and a plasma TV.
Facilities onboard include a cocktail bar and two Jacuzzis located on the spacious sun deck; a main deck with lounge, library, restaurant & bar and a shaded alfresco dining area. The Galapagos Grand Odyssey also offers a mini spa service with massage and therapies.
Social areas include a saloon, mini library and video library and a play zone for children (during family departures). Snorkelling equipment and kayaks are available without extra charge.
The M/Y Galapagos Grand Odyssey operates on 4, 5, 9, 10 and 14 night set departures.
Accommodation
The M/Y Galapagos Grand Odyssey accommodates 16 passengers in 8 spacious outside facing twin & matrimonial cabin suites and one Master Odyssey Suite. All include panoramic windows, private bathroom, air-con, minibar and TV.
Childcare
Children and families are welcome throughout the year. With children in mind, the Grand Odyssey has a twin connecting cabin with the Galapagos Grand Odyssey suite. The boat also has play zone during family departures, which includes a Nintendo Wii, board games, movies and other entertainment
Activities
Guests on board the M/Y Galapagos Grand Odyssey have the opportunity to participate in the daily visits to the islands, lead by the ship's expert bilingual naturalist guides. There is also plenty of time to enjoy swimming, snorkelling with the wildlife, kayaking, and stargazing. Natural history talks are also given by the guides and give the perfect opportunity to learn more about the fascinating local wildlife.

When to travel
The Galapagos is a year round destination. Seas can be heavier from July to November with a morning mist. December to May is the warmest time of year but receives slightly more rainfall.
