Colombia

In Colombia it’s hard not to be seduced by the breathtaking landscapes, the richness of natural resources, and the creativity and warmth of the people.

Colombia is one of the most rewarding and beautiful countries to visit in Latin America, with an array of attractions, from the vibrant, culture-rich city of Bogota and the beautiful colonial cities to the virgin beaches of Providencia.

With its rich cultural heritage, the high Andes, and the lush Amazon rainforest to explore, Colombia is both a fascinating and spellbinding place to visit.

Scott Dunn’s highlights for Colombia:

  • Head to Colombia’s capital, Bogotá, and be sure to visit the La Candelaria district. This old colonial part of the city is filled with history, beautiful architecture and cobbled streets.
  • One of the best national parks in Colombia, explore the Tayrona National Park, that stretches from Sierra Nevada to the mouth of the Rio Pierdras.
  • Visit the beautiful colonial town of Cartagena, where the walled city is close by to stunning sandy beaches.
