Description

Originally built in the 1940s by the renowned Argentine architect Alejandro Bustillo and newly redesigned, the Panoramic Hotel Iguazu features colonial architecture combined with modern decor. The hotel is located at the confluence of the Iguazu and Parana rivers, dividing the borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.

Rooms at the Panoramic Hotel are spacious and contemporary in style, and many have private terraces. The hotel features a magnificent outdoor swimming which affords breathtaking views of the Three Frontiers, a solarium and outdoor Roman bath. There is also a fantastic spa offering a full range of treatments and a casino. The hotel has an excellent restaurant serving typical Argentinean fare and a roof-top bar offering more incredible views of the falls.

The Panoramic Hotel Iguazu features 80 guest rooms, 10 Junior Suites and the Panoramic Suite, which has the best views of the falls. The rooms are decorated in an elegant modern style, featured hardwood furnishings and subtle earthy tones. All are equipped with safety box, minibar, WiFi and tv.

Children are welcome at the Panoramic Hotel. There is an outdoor swimming pool for children and a playground.

When to travel

All year round destination, however in Spring and Autumn (October/November and March/April) are most pleasant. The peak season is January through February when Argentineans and Brazilians are on holiday. December through March is summer. This is the hottest and the most humid time of year. The winter months are June through to August, this is when rain is mostly likely and the temperatures range from lows of 10°C to high of 23°C.

Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

5 mins from downtown Puerto Iguazu in Argentina and very close to the Three Frontiers Landmark. 30 mins from Foz do Iguaçu in Brazil.

How to get there

1hr 45 min flight to Iguazu. It is also possible to fly from Rio or Sao Paulo into Foz do Iguaçu, and take a short road transfer across the border to the hotel
