Description
Cavas Wine Lodge, renowned for being one of the continent's most luxurious wine lodges, is set in a 60-acre vineyard south of Mendoza, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, and home to some of the most prestigious wineries in Argentina. The lodge prides itself on an understated elegance with discreet service, privacy and refined comfort, and features a private wine cellar stocked with Argentina’s finest labels (such as Felipe Rutini and Carlos Pulenta).
Guests are encouraged to indulge in wine tastings, delicious home cooked fare, luxurious spa treatments, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and Cavas makes an excellent choice for honeymooners as it offers such seclusion and a romantic setting.
There are 14 spacious guestrooms, called vignettes because they are set within the vineyard. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine on their terrace whilst taking in the stunning Andes Mountains and glorious sunsets. Each room has its own plunge pool for guests to retreat to during the summer months.
You can hop from bodega to bodega by car or on bicycle, go horse riding and white water rafting, visit some of the best artist ateliers in Mendoza itself, and head out among the vines for a delicious picnic lunch.
