Description
The setting for Las Balsas is fairy-tale like, in one of Argentina’s most beautiful national parks; lush forests decorate the banks of the glacial lakes, whilst looking further afield one can see the peaks of the majestic snow-capped Andes.
Las Balsas is an intimate hotel with just twelve cosy rooms and three suites, all decorated with a refined style and elegance, and with stunning views over the shimmering Nahuel Huapi Lake or to the mountains. Fine dining, exclusive wine tasting and a deluxe pampering spa with lake views are all on offer at the hotel. There is also an indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the tranquil surroundings after a day out in the park.
In the winter Las Balsas is the perfect base for skiing the nearby Bayo Hill, whilst in the summer one should choose to descend on to the lake. Sailing, swimming, kayaking and fishing are just a few examples of the many activities on offer. You may even get a glimpse of Nahuelito, the lake's very own loch ness monster.
