The Tides is a very stylish hotel, built and decorated in Art Deco style, with a great oceanfront location on the ever popular Ocean Drive. There are 45 rooms with telescope and 3 penthouse suites with decks and Jacuzzi. All rooms and suites have oversize bathrooms, CD, player, minibar and safe. The hotel has a bar, two gourmet restaurants and a swimming pool. A beach service is provided by the hotel.

When to travel
Miami is a year-round destination but summers can be hot and humid and September and October have a slight risk of hurricanes. Ideal conditions exist between December and May, when temperatures average between 16°C and 30°C, and average rainfall is a mere 2.14in per month. Summer is very hot and humid, with thunderstorms rolling in at 3pm or 4pm. August is both the rainiest and hottest month – and there’s always the chance of hurricanes.

How to get there
9-hour 30-minute British Airways flight to Miami International Airport. From there it's a 30-minute transfer to the hotel.
