Copper Canyon

In the north of Mexico lies the beautifully remote Copper Canyon, an immense series of canyons and ridges, covering 25,000 square miles of rugged territory. The best way to see the Copper Canyon is by the famous Chihuahua al Pacifico or El Chepe train that runs between the cities of Chihuahua and Los Mochis. Four times bigger than the Grand Canyon, this magnificent Mexican landscape serves as the backdrop of one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. The train winds its way through the stunning and ever changing scenery, past Indian settlements and colonial missionary villages.
