Description

Villa Montana, a member of the Mexico Boutique Hotels group, is located ten minutes from the heart of Morelia, nestled in the Santa Marta Mountains. The hotel’s terracotta villas are set around beautiful gardens in a way that ensures privacy and fabulous views of the city and mountains.

Every facade, terrace and patio, path and garden is an intricate work of art combining sculpture, pottery and tiles. The exterior decor blends a wealth of Mexican colonial antiques and folk art in exquisite harmony. Enjoy delicious traditional Mexican and international cuisine at the hotel’s restaurant.

Villa Montana is a superb base from which to explore the beautiful colonial city of Morelia and some of the surrounding towns. Between November and March it is possible to visit the monarch butterfly wildlife sanctuary, where thousands of butterflies come to spend the winter, making for a breathtaking site.
