St Vincent and the Grenadines

Lying south of St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines make up part of the Windward Islands. Like all the Windwards, St Vincent is volcanic and mountainous with luxuriant vegetation and sandy beaches. The Grenadines terrain is equally lush and dramatic, with deserted coves and stunning coral reefs lying beneath the water. Diving and yachting are hugely popular in this archipelago, along with the promise of blissful relaxation in a luxurious setting. For these reasons, many of its islands, such as Mustique, are favourites with the rich and famous. Scott Dunn’s highlights for St Vincent and the Grenadines:

  • Canouan Island is the location of the stunningly 18 hole golf course at the Canouan Resort at Carenage Bay. This course is breathtakingly scenic and is a must do for any golfing enthusiasts.
  • For stunning beaches in a truly luxurious setting, be sure to visit the glamorous island of Mustique.
  • Swim with turtles in the Tobago Cays Marine Park, found between Mayreau and Union Island.
