East Winds is recommended for
Classic Hotel 0 BeachHoneymoon

East Winds is a tranquil and quiet garden oasis next to a lovely white sand beach. You would never know it was there as it is only a short way from Rodney Bay yet a world away from the hustle and bustle. I must admit I thought of East Winds as being an older couples hotel as it is very quiet and maybe a touch old fashioned. However, both times I have visited I have noticed that the guests are a real mix of young and old and everyone has nothing but praise for the hotels warm welcome, service and atmosphere. Many guests return year after year and the octagonal superior rooms in the gardens seem to be the most popular choice. A word of caution though, theyre not air conditioned so if you are worried about the heat, opt for the slightly more luxurious deluxe or oceanfront rooms. Furnishings are a little on the rustic Caribbean side, but still very comfortable. The hotel is very well run and managed and is a great option if you like to stay all inclusive and not move far from the beach or gardens. Entertainment is a steel band at lunch or a pianist in the evenings, definitely low key. Theres a help yourself bar by the pool which is understandably popular. If youre looking for bright lights and night life, this probably isnt the place for you, however, if you want an away from it all break and to be really looked after, this could be just the place
