Description

Strawberry Hill is a mountain retreat located in the Blue Mountains, with such breathtaking views that one feels on the edge of the world!

There are 12 rooms and suites designed in traditional 19th century colonial architecture with classic plantation style interiors including four-poster beds and spacious private verandas with hammocks to enjoy the stunning surroundings. Bathrooms are furnished with terra cotta and hand-glazed tiles, and feature deep-set bathtubs. Guests can enjoy bath salts, shower gels, shampoos and lotions created using a delicious blend of night flower, scented ginger known as Hedychium, grapefruit and jasmine aromas.

Facilities include a fantastic 60ft infinity swimming pool and tours can be arranged in the surrounding Blue Mountains, including coffee estates, hiking on local trails and climbing waterfalls. When to travel

Jamaica is a year-round destination, though there are seasonal differences to consider. Weather-wise, temperature isn’t an important factor: winter is usually warm by day and mild to cool by night, and summer months are hot. The rainy season extends from May to November, with peaks in May, June, October and November. Rain usually falls for short periods (normally in the late afternoon), and it’s quite possible to enjoy sunshine for most of your visit during these months. However, note that in Portland parish, it can rain for days on end.

Tourism’s high, or ‘winter, ’ season runs from early-December to mid-April.
