Description

Virgin Gorda is known for its dramatic scenery, secluded beaches, excellent sailing and a relaxed atmosphere. Biras Creek is located on a 140-acre peninsula in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda with magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea and the Sir Francis Drake Channel.

Accessible only by boat, Biras Creek is a private and romantic hideaway in an idyllic location. The hotel has 31 recently refurbished suites housed in individual cottages along the shoreline, each with a private terrace, sitting area and open-air shower. Grand and Premier suites feature Bose iPod docking stations, Sony LCD TV and DVD players and stunning private plunge pools.

The bar and Relais & Chateaux restaurant are on the hilltop, with superb views and serve excellent local and French cuisine with a fine selection of wines. Activities include water sports with free instruction, motorboats that are available to take to nearby deserted beaches, tennis, hiking and bicycles that are given to each guest to explore the estate.

Facilities at Biras Creek include a restaurant, bar, television and movie library, snooker room, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness room and private dining room.

Activities

Complimentary activities include use of the swimming pool, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, guided snorkelling trips, motorboats, tennis, snooker, guided nature walks and personal bicycles. Water sports instructor is on hand to help. Activities at an additional charge include use of the spa on site, diving and yachting available nearby, sports fishing, island excursions, glass bottom boat tours, motorboat day trips, day or sunset sails, water skiing, parasailing, car rental and helicopter trips.

Services

Dress code for gentleman in the restaurant from 1800 hrs, no shorts, jeans, t-shirts or trainers, collared shirt and trousers must be worn. Minimum stay of 14 nights for periods over-lapping Christmas and New Years Day.

Biras Creek is located on a strip of land between two hills on a 140-acre peninsula. It can only be reached by boat. The beach at Deep Bay is a short walk or bicycle ride from your cottage

How to get there

9 hour international flight (non-stop) to Antigua. From Antigua it's a 1 hour 15 minute domestic flight to Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport. A Biras Creek Resort representative will escort you for the two minute drive from Beef Island airport to Trellis Bay, where the launch leaves for a 30 minute boat ride.
