Description

Hermitage Bay brings a new style of luxury resort to Antigua. Set on a 1,200ft white sand beach with uninterrupted views of the Caribbean Sea, the resort consists of 25 single storey Cottage Suites with locations on the beachfront or on the hillside.

All the Suites have glorious views of the sea and have rich wooden floors built from tropical hardwoods from Guyana; the décor is in white and neutral shades and, along with the furnishings, can be described as ‘contemporary colonial’. Each air-conditioned cottage has a sumptuous bed with crisp white Italian linen and a spacious bathroom with double bathtub, a perfect spot for relaxing while the sun goes down. Each Hillside Cottage Suite has a private plunge pool with sunbathing area as well as a wrap around open-air deck incorporating a lounge, day beds and dining area. The Beachfront and Beach Cottage Suites are located along and just back from the beach and have an extensive terraced veranda with a day bed.

The restaurant and bar are located in front of the long sweeping beach with an imaginative menu that features the finest local produce. If you are feeling active you could try your hand at sailing in the sheltered bay or, alternatively, just indulge in a relaxing spa treatment.
