River Lodge offers eight suites and is the closest to a bush experience, but this does not mean you'll have to forgo private plunge pools, inside and outside showers, and luxurious living quarters. Large glass walls and huge screened doors look out onto views of the river. Shades of ocher and clay, taupe, and teak bring a slick, sophisticated look to the huge double-volume lounges. Dining areas are huge, magnificent open-sided rooms with views of the nearby Sand River - a beautiful place to drink and dine.
