Beaumont House used to be an owner-run boutique hotel but has just announced that it is now only to be taken on an exclusive use basis. It has an intimate atmosphere and guests are very well looked after by an in-house concierge to assist guests with restaurant reservations, transfers, golf days and anything else that is requested.
The accommodation comprises two Luxury Suites of 28 sq. metres and three Premier Suites of 45 sq., with their own private balcony or covered patio. The style is elegant with a touch of Hollywood glamour highlighted by a Bette Davis portrait in each room. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the pool and guests can relax in the lounge or library and help themselves to drinks from the honesty bar.
Cape Town city centre is just ten minutes away by car and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is even closer. It is also easy to access the Winelands, Hermanus and Cape Point for day trips.

Accommodation
Accommodation at Beaumont House comprises five luxurious suites with king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms. There is also a separate two-bedroom self-catering villa serviced by the hotel. The rooms are individually decorated in neutral colours and have an air of elegance and sophistication about them.

Children of all ages are very welcome at Beaumont House. With prior notice of their arrival, the hotel will cater for children by providing a special menu as well as arranging babysitting for those that require it.

The famous sandy beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno and Hout Bay are all within easy reach too, while more than a dozen golf courses are to be found within half an hour’s drive.

When to travel
Year-round destination. The summers are generally warm and dry, while winters tend to be wet and cool, the rains brought on by fierce north westerly gales. Neither season experiences extremes of temperature, thanks to prevailing winds.
