North west MozambiqueNorth western Mozambique is vast and wonderfully remote. The main areas of interest are the Niassa Reserve and the shores of Lake Malawi. The lake shore is wild and beautifully unspoilt, with white sand beaches, fresh water and a zillion species of fish. The Niassa Reserve is probably Mozambique’s premier wildlife park although it’s rarely visited and the infrastructure has only recently been updated.
